Laura Gray, Nurse Practitioner
Hi! My name is Laura Gray I am the owner and provider here at Hometown Aesthetics and Wellness!
I am a Prescott Native, born here, spent ~10 years in Oklahoma and Texas and moved back. I got my initial Nursing degree from Yavapai (Go Roughriders). I moved back to Texas as a new nurse in the Emergency Room but ultimately retuned to the Phoenix area a few years later. I spent the next 8 years in the Emergency Room and as a MediVac Flight Nurse (I got airsick every day I flew but loved that job and miss my peeps 🖤). I then became a Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine worked in Primary Care for a year but ultimately was not ready to let go of acute care so I went back to school for a second board certification in Acute Care Medicine. I continue to work as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner locally.
During COVID I was trying to decide what I wanted from this life and my career. Up to this point I had been in the hospital while doing bioidentical hormone pellets and basic hormone therapy outpatient but two years ago realized that I wanted to do more. I wanted to treat the whole patient in a functional, wellness, and aesthetics environment. I wanted to offer my patients everything from wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, hormone therapy to PRP joint injections for chronic pain and general medicine/telemedicine concierge services.
Aesthetics and Wellness is an avenue I have wanted to go down for so many years. I absolutely love everything about aesthetics. I love the ability to make a simple, seemingly small change watching it influence a persons entire self-esteem, relationships and confidence. Be it with hormone therapy, skin tone improvement, wrinkle relaxers or a refreshed set of cheeks or lips; I love everything about it. I knew I wanted to be part of patients lives who wanted more for themselves, who wanted to be preventative, who wanted to feel their absolute best and that is what Hometown Aesthetics and Wellness has allowed me to be part of!
